Why You’ll Love Peach and Brie Crostini

These are so easy to make and SO delicious! The habanero hot honey is on another level, it adds such a good spicy touch on the crostini and adds so much flavor. There’s a lovely balance of flavors between the sweetness of the peach and the creamy/melty brie. They make for the perfect appetizer if you are having people over!

Peach,Brie & Habanero Honey Crostini

How To Prepare Peach and Brie Crostini

🔥 Drizzle some olive oil on the bread slices, add salt and pepper. Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes.

🥓 Wrap each piece slice with prosciutto and set aside.

🌶 Preheat a pan on medium for 2 minutes. Add in honey and habaneros and then cook for 1-2 minutes, turn off and let sit.

🧀 Slice the brie into rectangular slices.

🧄 Rub each crostini with garlic and then add a brie slice on top of each one and place in the oven for 1-2 minutes for it to slightly melt, but not too much.

🍯 Top each crostini with the peach wrapped in prosciutto, drizzle honey, zest the lemon, add tarragon and black pepper and that is it!

Substitutions and Variations

  1. You can use apricots, apples, or pears instead of peaches.
  2. You can use feta or your cheese of choice instead of brie.
  3. You can use any other pepper instead of habanero for the hot honey.
  4. You can use any other cold meat such as salami instead of prosciutto.
  5. You can use your bread of choice instead of baguette.

Chef Nadia’s Tip

Only bake the bread with the brie for 1-2 minutes so it doesn’t fully disintegrate lol.
