These are so delicious and super easy to make. It’s the perfect appetizer, especially when you need to come up with something quick… these are it 👏 I made these when my friends were coming over and I had ran out of time, and they were obsessed! So they are perfect for a last minute appetizer. So simple yet amazing. They brûlée on the top adds the best texture.

How To Prepare Apples and Brie

🍎 First, wrap the prosciutto around the apples.

🔪 Secondly, slice the brie.

🧀 Completely coat one side of the brie in the cane sugar

🔥 Lastly, top the apple with the brie and brûlée.

Substitutions and Variations

  1. You can use any fruit of your choice instead of apples, such as apricots or pears.
  2. You can leave the prosciutto out and it is still delicious.

Chef Nadia’s Tip

You can leave the prosciutto out and it is still amazing! Also using a very hot spoon can brûlée the sugar!

Ingredients 

  • 4 apples, cut 2 thick round slices and save the rest of the apple to chop for salsa or sliced
  • 8 slices of brie, large slices, Saint Angel
  • Cane sugar
  • 8 slices of prosciutto

Directions 

  • First, wrap the prosciutto around the apples.
  • Secondly, slice the brie.
  • Completely coat one side of the brie in the cane sugar
  • Lastly, top the apple with the brie and brûlée.
