How To Prepare Brie Upside Down Bites

🌟 Roll out your puff pastry to about 1½ its size. With a 3½ inch circular cookie cutter, cut 8 rounds.

🍯 Place parchment paper on a sheet pan, add then add honey in little dollops. Then you’re going to score the brie and place on top of the honey dollops. Wrap the puff pastry over the brie as tightly as you can.

🍴 Pinch the edges of the brie bites pastry with a fork so they don’t puff up.

🔥 Brush with the egg and then bake at 400°F for 20-22 minutes.

🌿 Lastly, top with chives and more honey.

Substitutions and Variations

  1. You can top these with your favorite herbs or whichever ones you have on hand instead of chives.
  2. If you like to add a spicy touch, you can use hot honey instead of regular.

🔥Chef Nadia’s Tip🔥

For this recipe, make sure you pierce the puff pastry edges with a fork so they don’t puff up while baking these brie bites.

Common Questions

What honey do you use?

I use Local Hive and Nature Nate’s.

What mini brie rounds do you use?

For this recipe, I used Supreme Brie Bites.

Can I make these ahead?

These brie cheese bites are better straight out of the oven. The cheese is melty and perfect and you don’t want to mess with that.
