Whipped Brie & Spicy Peaches

This is EPIC! My favorite of the whipped brie recipes to date, and the bacon takes this to a whole new level

Ingredients 

  • 8 oz brie, rind removed and cubed
  • 3-4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 peaches, sliced
  • 3 strips of bacon, chopped
  • 1 large shallot, finely chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp salsa macha or chili crisp
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 tbsp chives
  • 3 tbsp honey

Directions 

  • Preheat a pan on high for 2 min. Add the bacon and lower heat to low, let it cook until nice and crispy and fat has been rendered
  • Remove bacon from pan and some of the rendered fat
  • Add in shallots and sautee until translucent on medium low
  • Add the cubed brie to food processor and whip for 20-40 sec. Add in cream cheese and process until smooth and creamy
  • Turn heat up to medium high to the pan with the shallots and add peaches. Cook on med high for 2-3 minutes
  • Lower heat to medium and add in salsa macha, honey, salt and smoked paprika. Cook for 1-2 min and turn heat off
  • Spread brie on a plate, top it with the peaches and sauce. Add the bacon and chives. That’s it
