Why You’ll Love Whipped Brie Cheese

It’s BRIE, I feel like that is reason enough, but I will give you more because yeah, it is that good. This recipe is super quick and easy to make. I love it when I’m hosting people and I need a last minute appetizer. The spicy peaches add that sweet, savory and a bit of kick that makes this recipe sooo good. This recipe is very versatile, you can play with the toppings or just leave it as is. It is honestly delicious even without toppings!

How To Prepare Whipped Brie Cheese

🥓 First, preheat a pan on high for 2 minutes. Then, add the bacon and lower heat to low, let it cook until nice and crispy and fat has been rendered.

🥘 Secondly, remove bacon from pan and some of the rendered fat.

🧅 Then, add in shallots and sauté until translucent on medium low.

🧀 Add the cubed brie to food processor and whip for 20-40 seconds. Then, add in cream cheese and process until smooth and creamy.

🍑 Then, turn heat up to medium high to the pan with the shallots and add peaches. Then, cook on medium high for 2-3 minutes.

🌶 Lower heat to medium and add in salsa macha, honey, salt and smoked paprika. Then, cook for 1-2 minutes and turn heat off.

🌿 Lastly, spread brie on a plate, top it with the peaches and sauce. Then, add the bacon and chives. That’s it!

Substitutions and Variations

  1. You can use any other fruit of your choice, such as apricots instead of peach.
  2. You can opt out of toppings and leave the brie as is or top with what your heart desires.
  3. You can take out the Salsa Macha and just do honey, if you aren’t a fan of spicy.

Chef Nadia’s Tip

SAVE the rinds. It is a pro move, keep them in your fridge or freezer and add to soups, stews and sauces. Blend or remove once the sauce is done.
