Why You’ll Love Whipped Brie Brûlée
This is super easy to make and such the perfect appetizer. I love making this when I’m hosting people over and during the holidays and it’s always a major hit. There is a lovely balance of flavors here, the spiced crostini adds a tangy touch and the Brûlée bring a little sweetness into the brie.
How To Prepare Whipped Brie Brûlée
🥣 First, remove the rind from the brie, cube and add to a large bowl.
🌟 Secondly, whip it until smooth, it will be a few minutes so be patient.
🧀 Then, add whipped brie to a baking dish and cover with foil.
🍞 Drizzle some olive oil on the bread and add seasonings to taste.
🔥 Then, bake the bread and whipped brie at 350F for 10-12 minutes.
❤️ Lastly, remove foil from the brie, add cane sugar on top and using a blow torch brûlée it. You can also skip the baking the whipped brie in the beginning, add the sugar and broil for 2-3 minutes until a crust forms.
Substitutions and Variations
- You can use any bread of your choice instead of ciabatta.
- I used smoked paprika and garlic herb bread seasoning for the crostinis, but you can swap for your favorite seasonings and add your touch!
Chef Nadia’s Tip
