Prosecco Strawberries 🍓🥂 You can obviously use champagne as well…but they turn out SO good… I soak for about 6-7 hours total (4-6 hrs fridge and 1 in the freezer) but you can do overnight.
Don’t throw the prosecco away btw! Strain it using a cheesecloth and drink it OR use it to soak a second batch. You can also freeze the strawberries and use them as ice cubes on your prosecco!
Why You’ll Love Prosecco Strawberries
Besides being absolutely beautiful, they are boozy and delicious. I love to make these as a little boozy snack, or when I’m hosting people for brunch. They are super easy to make and you can re-use the Prosecco that you soak them in, because we don’t waste any Prosecco or champagne in this page. These are also perfect for summer!
How To Prepare Prosecco Strawberries
🍓 First, clean strawberries well.
🌟 Secondly, pat dry and add to a glass container (non reactive).
🍾 Then, cover in Prosecco and cover.
❄️ Let sit in the fridge for 4-6 hours, plop in the freezer for 1 hour.
❤️ Lastly, pat dry lightly and roll in sugar.
Substitutions and Variations

- You can also use your alcohol of choice, such as tequila or vodka instead of champagne or Prosecco.
Chef Nadia’s Tip
Make sure you save the champagne or Prosecco you soak the strawberries in! You can drink it or you can use it to soak more strawberries.
