🔥Chef Nadia’s Tip🔥

When you brûlée the bree, use a slow sweeping motion, focus on the edges first, then move the torch in a circular motion across the center.

Common Questions

I don’t have a torch? Is there anything else I can do?

You can always buy a torch on Amazon. But if you don’t have time or want to, that is totally okay. Just put them on a baking sheet under the broiler and watch it carefully to make sure the figs and brie appetizer doesn’t burn.

Can I make this ahead?

Yes you certainly can. You can assemble it a day ahead, and then cover and refrigerate. What to brûlée until ready to serve.

I can’t find fresh figs, what do I do?

If you can’t find fresh figs, you can try dates of even dried figs instead. It obviously won’t taste exactly the same but it will still be good.
