Recipe Tip

Preheating the cast iron for at least 2-3 min is key for getting the golden crust. I used a mini 5 inch pan. Don’t worry if the crust looks dark, it won’t taste burnt

Baked Goat Cheese

Ingredients 

  • 8 oz goat cheese, or more
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp crushed red peppers
  • Chives

Directions 

  • Slice your goat cheese into rounds
  • Preheat a cast iron pan on high for 2-3 minutes
  • Arrange the cheese onto the cast iron. Get it on the stove on high for 1 minute
  • Drizzle honey and add crushed red peppers
  • Bake at 400F for 17-20 min or until golden. Top it with chives
