Fig Butter & Brie Crostini

Fig Butter & Brie Crostini…served these at a dinner party last night and to say they were a hit is an understatement!

Ingredients 

  • 4 oz good butter, unsalted
  • 8 oz fig preserves
  • 6 large slices ciabatta, cut diagonally
  • Brie, triple cream
  • Chives
  • Salt to taste

Directions 

  • Mix your butter with the fig preserves. Add a pinch of salt
  • Spread the butter onto the bread, generously
  • Bake at 350F for 12 minutes
  • Top it with a thick piece of brie and bake 1-2 min until slightly melty but not completely melted
  • Top with chives
