Carajillo Affogato ❤️ This coffee drink is seriously the best one I’ve ever made! Carajillo is a Spanish drink with espresso and rum or brandy, but a Mexican carajillo is espresso and Licor 43; which I used the Mexican version for this recipe. Affogato is an Italian drink/dessert of ice cream over espresso… So I mixed both of these amazing creations and voila!

Calling all my coffee lovers!! ☕️❤️ This drink is for YOU… It is seriously addicting. It’s sooo delicious and easy to make. It’s sweet and creamy. This is perfect for a get together honestly, I made them for my friends who were coming over for brunch and when I tell you they went craaaazy for it, believe me. I am obsessed with coffee drinks, and this one is EPIC! It is very easy to make and you can get it ready in 5 minutes.

How To Prepare Carajillo Affogato

🧊 First, add the ice and heavy cream to a blender and blend until fluffy.

🌟 Secondly, add in Licor 43 and monk fruit.

❤️ Then, blend until fluffier.

☕️ Lastly, pour over the espresso. I served mine over a double shot espresso.

Substitutions and Variations

  1. You can use Frangelico or Grand Marnier instead of licor43.
  2. You can use your sweetener of choice instead of monk fruit.

Ingredients 

  • 4 oz licor 43
  • 3 cups ice
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp monk fruit , or sweetener of choice
  • 2 shots espresso, you can do 2-4 shots

Instructions 

  • First, add the ice and heavy cream to a blender and blend until fluffy.
  • Secondly, add in Licor 43 and monk fruit.
  • Blend until fluffier.
  • Lastly, pour over the espresso. I served mine over a double shot espresso.
