Tipsy Grapes…They sort of remind me of a hot toddy, but you know… cold ❤️😂. You can reuse the bourbon you soak them in, because we don’t waste any bourbon on this page!!! These are perfect to make for the holidays, the flavor of these grapes remind me of Christmas idk why🙈.

Why You’ll Love Tipsy Grapes

They are delicious and the combination of bourbon and cinnamon is EPIC. These are smokey and sweet which is what makes these so addicting. The cinnamon sugar adds that crispy touch and makes them even better.

How To Prepare Boozy Grapes

🍇 Wash and stab the grapes so they absorb the alcohol.

🌟 Completely coat in bourbon and soak for a minimum of 4 hours and maximum of 14 hours. I soaked for 12 hours.

🍋 Drain the bourbon and add to a bowl with 1/2 the lemon (squeezed) and as much honey as you want. Mix it well.

❄️ Freeze for 1-3 hours.

❤️ Mix the monk or sugar with the cinnamon.

✨ Skewer the grapes and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar.

Substitutions and Variations

  1. You can use any alcohol of choice such as whiskey, mezcal, vodka, tequila, like my Tajin & Tequila Grapes!
  2. You can use any fruit of your choice instead of grapes.
  3. You can use any sugar you like instead of monk fruit.

Chef Nadia’s Tip

When you drain the bourbon use it for soaking more grapes, drinking it chilled or make an actual hot toddy with it.

    1. Hey Dava, I’m really trying to think of something that would work. You need the alcohol for the grapes to not completely freeze. I have not tried it so I can’t say for sure if this will work but you might try soaking the grapes in a non-alcoholic flavored seltzer or even sprite. You’d need to watch them much closer in the freezer to make sure they don’t get too hard. I’m sorry I don’t have a better recommendation for you!
