Blue Cheese Dirty Martini Recipe 🍸🫒 I know it sounds…weird…HOWEVER …It is delicious. The blue cheese in the shaker is what makes it look milky and adds a delicious lil funk in a fabulous way. It is life changing. My sister who says she “tolerates” blue cheese but isn’t a huge fan was absolutely obsessed with this. If you love martinis, you have to try my carajillo martini!

Why You’ll Love Blue Cheese Dirty Martini

This Blue Cheese Dirty Martini is a main character and once you try this, you won’t be able to go back. It is just that good. The blue cheese inside the shaker adds such an amazing touch and gives it the signature milky look.

How To Prepare Blue Cheese Dirty Martini

🧊 Add a bit of the vermouth to your martini glass, swirl, and discard (or save). Then, place the glass in the freezer for 15 minutes. You do this because the vermouth chills the glass quickly leaving the stem comfortable to hold.

🫒 Hand stuff your olives with as much blue cheese as your heart desires.

❄️ Fill a shaker with ice. Then add in vodka, olive brine and a chunk of blue cheese. I am obsessed with my new shaker, Elevated Craft Hybrid Cocktail Shaker. If you do buy this shaker, you can make two at a time.

💚 Shake for 60-90 seconds. Don’t go past the 90 seconds with a regular shaker because it may explode on you like it did on me.

🍸 Pour in your chilled glass and add your olives.

🔥 Chef Nadia’s Tips 🔥

Shake your Blue Cheese Dirty Martini 60-90 seconds (non-negotiable) to create those perfect icicles that makes this martini even more epic. PS: I now have a new shaker that I swear by, since my old shaker exploded on you like it did on me 🤣 I know it’s on the pricey side hear me out, it’s leak proof, has an integrated jigger, it’s insulated so you have to shake it less, has a screw cap so it doesn’t jam or explode 😉 and it is huge so you can make more than one drink at a time! I bought mine on Amazon here Elevated Craft Hybrid Cocktail Shaker.

  1. I’m confused, when asked “what kind of vermouth do you use” you say dry but in the ingredient list you say sweet vermouth. So which one is it?

    1. Hey Ariana, You can honestly use either. It’s just a rinse for your glass and it gets thrown out. You do it because the vermouth chills the glass quickly leaving the stem comfortable to hold.
