How To Prepare Salmon Cucumber Boats

🍣 First, chop the salmon really small.

🌿 Secondly, add to a bowl with the chives, sesame oil, 1 tsp Tamari, sriracha and Japanese mayo.

🍋 Mix the scallions, rice vinegar, lemon and Tamari to taste.

🌟 Then, rub some sesame oil on your hands so the rice doesn’t stick on your hands.

🍚 Add some rice to the cucumber halves.

🥒 Lastly, add the salmon to a piping bag and pipe it onto the cucumber boats, top with sesame seeds and Serranos.

Substitutions and Variations

  1. You can use tuna, or your favorite raw fish instead of salmon.
  2. If you aren’t a huge fan of spicy, you can adjust the amount of sriracha.
  3. The serranos can be swapped for your favorite pepper, or you can take them out.
  4. You can also swap the Persian cucumbers for English or regular cucumbers.
