How To Prepare Salmon Cucumber Boats
🍣 First, chop the salmon really small.
🌿 Secondly, add to a bowl with the chives, sesame oil, 1 tsp Tamari, sriracha and Japanese mayo.
🍋 Mix the scallions, rice vinegar, lemon and Tamari to taste.
🌟 Then, rub some sesame oil on your hands so the rice doesn’t stick on your hands.
🍚 Add some rice to the cucumber halves.
🥒 Lastly, add the salmon to a piping bag and pipe it onto the cucumber boats, top with sesame seeds and Serranos.
Substitutions and Variations
- You can use tuna, or your favorite raw fish instead of salmon.
- If you aren’t a huge fan of spicy, you can adjust the amount of sriracha.
- The serranos can be swapped for your favorite pepper, or you can take them out.
- You can also swap the Persian cucumbers for English or regular cucumbers.
