I love my dirty martinis, but sometimes I’m in the mood for something more refreshing and this Cucumbertini is PERFECT for those days! You can make this Cucumber Martini with either gin or vodka, I like gin so that’s what I used but it is amazing with whichever you like best.

How To Prepare

Cucumber Juice 🥒

Add your cucumber, lemon, zest and agave to a blender and process until smooth. Strain.

Cucumbertini 🍸

Fill your shaker with ice and add gin, vermouth and cucumber juice. Shake for 60-90 seconds, and yes for the full 60-90 seconds! Trust me it’s worth it 😉 Garnish with cucumber ribbons and edible flowers.

🔥Chef Nadia’s Tip🔥

  • Shake your Cucumbertini 60-90 seconds (non-negotiable) to create those perfect icicles that makes this martini even more epic.
  • If you make mixed drinks, I am obsessed with this  Elevated Craft Hybrid Cocktail Shaker. I know it’s pricey but it is worth every penny!

Substitutions

  • For this Cucumber Martini Recipe, I used Empress Cucumber Lime Gin, but this drink is great with vodka also. You can choose whichever alcohol you prefer.
  • If you don’t have agave, you can use a little syrup.

Cucumber martini made gin but you can make it with vodka, garnished with edible flowers and sliced cucumber.

They are the Nara Stainless Steel Cocktail Picks from Crate and Barrel.

What kind of gin do you recommend for this recipe?

I’m partial to Empress, and the Empress Cucumber Lime adds a great flavor to this drink. But whatever your favorite gin or vodka will work just great.
