This recipe is sooo good and easy! You know I love butter, but this butter candle is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! The bone marrow truly adds the best taste. This is the perfect appetizer, and I can guarantee you that it will be the star of your next dinner party!
How To Prepare Bone Marrow Butter Candle
🍖 First, roast the bone marrow at 425F for 15-20 minutes.
🦴 Secondly, remove the marrow from the bones and transfer to a bowl alongside the rendered fat.
🧈 Add the butter to a food processor with the marrow, chives, Tamari, salt, pepper and honey. Then, process until smooth.
🌟 Poke a hole on your paper cup and pass the wick through.
❄️ Then, add in the butter to the cup and place in the freezer for 15-20 minutes at least.
🕯 Lastly, serve with toasted bread, garlic and butter.
Substitutions and Variations
- There isn’t substitutions for this recipe, but you can serve with your favorite bread, or with pretty much anything your heart desires instead of ciabatta.
- Herbs are always very easy to swap, so you can use your favorite ones or which ever ones you have on hand.
Chef Nadia’s Tip
Use a foodsafe wick, I used hemp & beeswax. Also, If you serve it with bread, rub some garlic on the bread, it enhances the flavor.

- Salt and pepper , to taste

- Ciabatta, or any bread of choice, for serving
