Substitutions and Variations

Substitutions
  • In a pinch, you can always use store bought lime juice. Fresh is always better but this will work too.
  • Honey or maple syrup will work in place of the agave.
Variations
  • Even Spicier Variation: If you are wanting even more kick, don’t seed the jalapeños before adding to the food processor.
  • Orange Liqueur Variation: For extra citrus, you can add 1 oz of Triple Sec, Grand Marnier or Cointreau to this recipe.

🔥Chef Nadia’s Tip🔥

  • If you have sensitive skin at all, wearing gloves will help make sure your skin doesn’t burn from touching the spicy jalapeños for this margarita.
