Why You’ll Love Best Potato Salad

It is bright, tangy, creamy and spicy! also… Does it take a million ingredients? Yes 😭 but is it worth it? Also yes! I love serving this during the holidays, and my family loves it. Yes, it’s not traditional nor classic but it has the best flavor. The star of the show here are the salsa macha fried almonds… my gosh they add the best crunchy and spicy touch, you will LOVE!

How To Prepare Best Potato Salad

🥔 First, boil the potatoes in salted water whole for 20 minutes or until fork tender.

🍯 Secondly, mix together the labneh, mayo, capers and brine, red wine vinegar, honey, dijon, lemon zest, Serrano, cumin, za’atar, chives, dill and 1/4 cup olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste.

🌶 Then, add 2 tbsp of olive oil to a pan and fry the sliced almonds until golden with the smoked paprika and salsa Macha.

🌿 Lastly, cut the potatoes into small cubes skin on, and add to the sauce while warm. Let them cool. Top with the almonds, Parmigiano, more herbs and that’s it.

Chef Nadia’s Tip

Adding the potatoes to the sauce while they are warm (not hot) is gonna help them absorb the flavors. Then, let them cool before eating.
