Why You’ll Love Strawberry Brie Bites

Because I said so?? Just kidding, all jokes aside, they truly are delicious. The strawberry chipotle sauce is sweet and smokey and it adds such an amazing touch to the bites. These are crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, it is such a great combination.

How To Prepare Strawberry Brie Bites

🥚 First, coat the mini brie in flour, egg wash, and Panko. Let sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.

🥘 Secondly, add about 2 inches of oil to a skillet and preheat until it hits 350F or the bottom of your wooden spoon bubbles.

🍓 Mix together the strawberry jam, chipotle, honey, water and salt/pepper.

🍯 Then, add sauce to a pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on high until it thickens.

🔥 Fry the brie one by one, basting it with oil for about 45 seconds until golden.

🌿 Lastly, top the brie with the sauce, chives and flaky salt.

Substitutions and Variations

  1. You can use any other berry instead of strawberry.
  2. I topped with chives, but you can use any herbs of your choice.

Chef Nadia’s Tip

You can bake them but make sure you add oil to the Panko. Bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes or until golden. Won’t be as crispy but still good.
