Why You’ll Love Montecristo Sandwich

This sandwich is sooo good. It’s cheesy, crispy, and smokey 😉 This is very easy to make, and perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.

Montecristo Sandwich

How To Prepare Montecristo Sandwich

🍳 First, whisk your egg with the cream.

🧀 Secondly, spread mayo on one slice of bread and add salsa Macha. Then, add the chicken and shredded gruyere.

🍞 Then, spread mustard on the other slice and top with the smoked gruyere.

🥪 Press your sandwich together pretty tightly.

🧈 Then, preheat a pan for 2 minutes and add 1 tbsp butter per sandwich.

🥚 Quickly pass the sandwich through the egg wash.

🔥 Then, on medium low heat toast the sandwich on both sides until golden.

🌶 Lastly, enjoy with cherry peppers and pickles.

Substitutions and Variations

  1. You can use any cheese of your choice instead of gruyere.
  2. You can use ham, turkey or both instead of chicken.
  3. If you aren’t a fan of spicy, you can take the salsa macha out.
  4. You can use chili crisp instead of salsa macha.
