Montecristo Sandwich with a twist… So let’s make it using Boar’s Heads New FireSmith Flame Grilled Chicken that actually tastes like it was grilled but you can get it at the deli!

Ingredients 

  • 4 slices bread of choice
  • 6 slices Boar’s Head FireSmith Flame Grilled Chicken
  • 4 thick slices smoked gruyere, Boar’s Head
  • Gruyere, shredded
  • Mayo to taste
  • Mustard to taste
  • Salsa macha to taste, optional
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp cream
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions 

  • Whisk your egg with the cream
  • Spread mayo on one slice of bread and add salsa macha. Add your chicken and shredded gruyere
  • Spread mustard on the other slice and top with the smoked gruyere
  • Press your sandwich together pretty tightly
  • Preheat a pan for 2 min and add 1 tbsp butter per sandwich
  • Quickly pass the sandwich through the egg wash
  • On medium low heat toast your sandwich on both sides until golden
  • Enjoy with cherry peppers and pickles
