Montecristo Sandwich
Montecristo Sandwich ❤️ with a twist… So let’s make it using Boar’s Heads New FireSmith Flame Grilled Chicken that actually tastes like it was grilled but you can get it at the deli!
Ingredients
- 4 slices bread of choice
- 6 slices Grilled Chicken, Boar’s Head FireSmith Flame
- 4 slices smoked gruyere, thick slices
- Gruyere, shredded
- Mayonnaise, to taste
- Mustard, to taste
- Salsa macha , to taste, optional
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp cream
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- First, whisk your egg with the cream.
- Secondly, spread mayo on one slice of bread and add salsa Macha. Then, add the chicken and shredded gruyere.
- Then, spread mustard on the other slice and top with the smoked gruyere.
- Press your sandwich together pretty tightly.
- Then, preheat a pan for 2 minutes and add 1 tbsp butter per sandwich.
- Quickly pass the sandwich through the egg wash.
- Then, on medium low heat toast the sandwich on both sides until golden.
- Lastly, enjoy with cherry peppers and pickles.
