This Espresso Granita a frozen drink recipe that’s a mix of a carajillo, espresso martini and Vietnamese coffee mashup and it is FIRE🔥. This is one of my favorite coffee drinks/desserts I have made so far… trust me when I tell you, you will be obsessed!

How To Prepare Espresso Granita

☕️ Add the coffee, vodka and Licor 43 to a freezer safe dish.

❄️ Freeze for 2 ½ hours. Shred with a fork and then return to freezer for another 1-2 hours and shred again.

🍫 Top with lots of condensed milk, chocolate shavings and now you have your carajillo, espresso martini and Vietnamese coffee mashup!

Substitutions for Espresso Granita

  1. You can use Frangelico or Grand Marnier instead of licor43.
  2. I used dark chocolate to balance out some of the sweetness, but you can use milk or white chocolate if you prefer.

Make sure you shred this Espresso Granita twice, so you get the right consistency.

Equipment

  • 1 freezer safe dish
  • 1 fork

Ingredients 

  • 2 ½ cups cold brew coffee concentrate , or espresso
  • 3 oz vodka
  • 2 ½ oz licor 43
  • dark chocolate , for shaving and topping
  • condensed milk , to taste, for topping

Instructions 

  • Add the coffee, vodka and Licor 43 to a freezer safe dish.
  • Freeze for 2 ½ hours. Shred with a fork. Return to freezer for another 1-2 hours and shred again.
  • Top with lots of condensed milk, chocolate shavings and that is it!
