Why You’ll Love Baked Feta Dip

This is honestly perfect if you are hosting or having a dinner party, because it is very easy to make and delicious! I love when the tomatoes burst, it’s so satisfying lol and sooo good, garlicky and creamy. You will love it! if you know me, you know that I love to add a bit of spice, so I added crushed red peppers, it honestly gives it such a nice taste. You can leave those out if you prefer.

How To Prepare Baked Feta Dip

🍅 Add the tomatoes, garlic, pine nuts, honey, lemon zest, olive oil, salt, pepper crushed red peppers and oregano to a baking dish.

🧀 Top it with the feta, drizzle some olive oil and oregano.

🔥 Bake at 400°F for 30-40 minutes or until feta is all golden. Baste half way through.

🍋 Top it with fresh lemon juice and parsley.

🍞 Enjoy with crusty bread and that is it!

Substitutions and Variations

  1. You can use goat cheese instead of feta.
  2. You can top with any herbs of your choice instead of parsley.
  3. I added crushed red peppers to mine (it doesn’t make it too spicy), but you can leave those out.

Chef’s Tip

Make sure you baste half way through, so it doesn’t dry out.

Ingredients 

  • 1 pint Cherry tomatoes, poke a hole in them
  • 8 oz Feta, one block
  • 4 Garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup Pine nuts
  • Parsley, to taste
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil, and some to drizzle on the feta
  • 1 Lemon zest
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Crushed red peppers
  • Salt and pepper , to taste
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • Parsley, fresh, to taste
  • Crusty Bread
