Why You’ll Love Tomatoes and Burrata

This recipe is super easy and quick to make. It’s perfect as a last minute appetizer if you are having people over. It is sooo delicious, and creamy. The sizzling oil adds the best flavor… trust me! I love making this when I am in a hurry, because it’s low effort and fast. The flavors come together so well!

How To Prepare Tomatoes and Burrata

🍅 First, combine the tomatoes, pistachio, parmigiano, lemon zest, garlic, salt, pepper, crushed red peppers and honey in a bowl.

🔥 Secondly, heat up the olive oil in a pan until fragrant and the bottom of a wooden spoon bubbles.

🌟 Then, pour hot oil over the tomato and pistachio mixture.

🧀 Then, slice the burrata balls in half, expose the stracciatella and pour the tomato mixture.

🍞 Lastly, enjoy with crusty bread.

Substitutions and Variations

  1. You can use any tomatoes of your choice instead of yoom tomatoes.
  2. Herbs are always very easy to swap out for your favorite ones or which ever ones you have on hand.
  3. I love to add a spicy touch, but you can leave the crushed red peppers out if you prefer!
  4. You can use any cheese of your choice instead of parmesan.

Chef Nadia’s Tip

Make sure you slice the burrata balls in half so you expose the stracciatella.
