Why You’ll Love Thai Golden Bags

These are sooo cute… but looks aren’t everything here. They are insanely delicious. I used Chipotle Mayonnaise and it was amazing… I love the creamy smokiness it adds, plus it is so versatile!

Shrimp Thai Golden Bags

How To Prepare Thai Golden Bags

🦐 First, chop the shrimp pretty small into a paste

🧄 Secondly, add shrimp to a bowl with the scallions, garlic, ginger, cilantro, sesame oil, lemon zest, rice vinegar, chipotle mayo, salt and pepper. Then, mix well and refrigerate for 15 minutes.

🍤 Place some of the shrimp mixture inside the wonton wrappers, about 1 tsp of the shrimp mixture. Form the little bags. Then, tie carefully with a chive.

🥑 Spray avocado oil on a baking sheet, carefully place the little bags in the baking sheet and spray avocado oil on them.

🔥 Bake at 400F for 20-25 minutes or until fully golden.

🌟 Lastly, mix together everything for the sauce.

❤️ Enjoy!

Substitutions and Variations

  1. You can use chicken or any protein of choice instead of shrimp.
  2. If you aren’t a fan of chipotle, you can use your favorite dipping sauce.

Chef Nadia’s Tip

Chop everything small so you can get a bit of everything in every bite.
