Raw Salmon 🧡 I could eat a variation of salmon crudo for the rest of my life… because by now you already know that I am obsessed with raw salmon, but the sauce on this one is epic!

Why You’ll Love Raw Salmon

You’ll love it because I said so… Just kidding lol. It’s SO fresh, and light. The ginger scallion sauce on this crudo is amazing, it is spicy, coconutty and perfect. The za’atar on the top give it that herby touch and enhances the flavor even more. The ginger scallion sauce is everything! I love serving this as an appetizer, but it’s great as a main as well.

How To Prepare Raw Salmon

🥥 First, mix together the scallion, cilantro, chopped Serrano, lemon, orange, ginger, Tamari, sesame oil, coconut milk, salt, pepper and 1 cilantro. Then, add to food processor and pulse until chunky smooth.

🍣 Secondly, slice the salmon super thin and arrange on a plate.

🌿 Drizzle the scallion ginger sauce on top.

🍋 Add a touch of lemon, olive oil, za’atar and flaky salt.

🌶 Lastly, top with Serrano slices.

Substitutions and Variations

  1. You can use any fish of your choice. I highly recommend yellowtail or ahi.
  2. If you aren’t a huge fan of spicy, you can substitute the Serrano for your favorite pepper, or adjust the amount to your desired level of heat.

Chef Nadia’s Tip
