Miso Butter ❤️ aka the best I’ve made in forever… It’s so quick and easy to make. This recipe is SO flavorful, it has those earthy and nutty notes that gives this recipe its it girl vibes. So if you want to step up your butter game your have to make this! If you loved this recipe, check out my homemade butter recipe.
Why You’ll Love Miso Butter
We can all agree that butter is a main character… But this miso tahini brown butter is so unique because it has such a nutty flavor and the miso and tahini add such a nice earthy flavor that makes it EPIC! Trust me, you’ll love it. You can play around with toppings, which is what I love about making butter, it’s so versatile and you can top it with anything your heart desires. I like to smear mine on a toasted piece of bread and adding some flaky salt and honey on top.
How To Prepare Miso Butter
🧈 Place your butter in a light colored pan so you can see it turning golden on medium. It takes about 7-8 minutes to turn golden. Scrape the sides often so you get all those milk solids.
🔥 Turn heat off and add the Tamari.
🥣 Transfer to a bowl (scraping the sides to get all the milk solids) and add the tahini, maple syrup and miso.
🧊 Whip over ice until nice and creamy. Fold in some flaky salt to taste.
💛 Eat it with anything, and that is it! Enjoy!
Substitutions and Variations
- You can use any honey of choice instead of maple syrup.
- You don’t have to fold in flaky salt if you don’t want to, but it adds that salty element and it makes it even more delicious!
