If you love your martinis so dirty they’re filthy 🫒🫒🫒 and so cold they’re frozen, then you’re in the right place! Introducing my newest creation…Milky Frozen and Extra Dirty Martini! This is an extra dirty vodka martini recipe with the most amazing olive brine granita.
Why You’ll Love Frozen Extra Dirty Martini
My other Blue Cheese Martini recipe went completely viral and with good reason! This one is similar but for with a couple of changes. The granita is amazing and really easy to make. If you love the salty, briny taste from the olive juice, the blue cheese adds an extra pop that will change your martini game for good!

How To Prepare
Olive Brine Granita
🥶 Add everything for the granita to small baking sheet and freeze.
💫 Add a bit of the vermouth to your martini glass, swirl, discard (or save, don’t come for me lol), and then place your glass in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Stuffed Olives
🍋 Mash your blue cheese with lemon zest with a bit of olive. Add to a piping bag or a small plastic bag and cut the tip off.
🫒 Stuff your olives with as much blue cheese as your heart desires.
Filthy Dirty Martini
🧊 Fill a shaker with ice, add in vodka and a chunk of blue cheese and then shake 60-90 seconds.
🍴 Using a fork “shred” your olive brine granita.
🍸 Add ¼ of the granita into the chilled glass, top with your drink and then add your olives.

🔥Chef Nadia’s Tip🔥
For this extra dirty martini recipe, you need to shake it for 60-90 seconds (non-negotiable) to create those perfect icicles that makes this martini even more epic. I know it’s on the pricey side hear me out, it’s leak proof, has an integrated jigger, it’s insulated so you have to shake it less, has a screw cap so it doesn’t jam or explode 😉 and it is huge so you can make more than one drink at a time! I bought mine on Amazon, Elevated Craft Hybrid Cocktail Shaker.
Substitutions
- You can substitute the blue cheese for feta, parmesan, or goat cheese!
- You can also use your olives of choice instead of castelvetrano olives.
- If you aren’t a vodka fan, gin is a great substitute to use instead.
The Perfect Pairings
🍽️ Classic and Elegant meals that go well with martinis are things like Steak Frites, Seared Scallops, Truffled Salmon & Hamachi Crudo or Chanterelle Pasta. Any dish that compliments the salty briny taste of the martini without overwhelming it will work.
Common Questions about Frozen Extra Dirty Martini
You don’t have to, but I highly recommend it. Shaking for 90 seconds creates icicles and it makes the drink even more delicious.
For this martini, I used Grey Goose but you can use your vodka of choice!
I highly recommend you do, but you can use store bought ones as well.
These cocktail picks are from crate and barrel. They’re adorable!
