Crispy Steak Bites 🥩 ❤️ for ep.15 of my restaurant series… these would def be on my menu! Especially with the caviar on top… This is delicious without caviar too btw but add flaky salt on top.

These are the most epic, crispy, golden and flavorful tenderloin bites! The texture and flavors here is unreal, they are are to die for! Coating the tenderloin with Tamari and seasoning the panko is such a good hack. I felt like being a little extra and top them with caviar, that is completely optional. They make for the perfect appetizer.

How To Prepare Crispy Steak Bites
🥩 First, brush the tenderloins with Tamari and wrap in plastic. Then, place in freezer 1 hour.
🥚 Secondly, shake and strain the egg into a bowl, add the rest of the Tamari.
💥 Slightly pulverize the panko and season.
🟥 Then, cut the steaks into cubes or rectangles.
🌟 Pass the steak through the egg wash and coat in panko.
❄️ Then, place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
🥄 Fill a saucier about halfway with oil. Then, heat up until the bottom of a wooden skewer bubbles.
💛 Fry on high heat, until golden. About 45-65 seconds.
🌿 Lastly, top with creme fraiche, caviar and chives.
Substitutions and Variations for Crispy Steak Bites
- You can use any cut of meat of your choice instead of tenderloin.
- You don’t have to top with caviar, but add flaky salt on top instead.
- You can use soy sauce instead of Tamari.
- You can use your favorite herbs or which ever ones you have on hand instead of chives.
- You can use avocado oil for frying the bites instead of olive oil.
Chef Nadia’s Tip
Make sure you put the bites in the freezer before and after coating the bites, so it is easier to cut the meat and also for the panko to really stick to them and it is easier to fry.
