This Amaretto Peaches recipe is an ode to my restaurant days. One of our most popular items was flambéed dessert table-side and I LOVED it! This recipe doesn’t require flambeing (you’ll just be sautéing the peaches instead 😉) but the heat still brings out the flavors in the fruit and the liqueur. This peach dessert is super easy to make gluten-free, dairy-free and lactose-free (see the Variations for more) with the right ice cream!
Why You’ll Love Amaretto Peaches
Warm peaches with their natural sweetness heightened by the amaretto and the caramelization process that comes with sautéed peaches. Creamy cold ice cream that pairs so well with the peaches melts in your mouth with each bite. Toasted crunchy almonds that put the finishing touches on this amazing dessert. There’s nothing not to like about this satisfying blend of flavors and textures that are just downright decadent in this peach dessert recipe. Oh, and it also makes your house smell AMAZING!

It is certainly best eaten right away but if that isn’t possible it is absolutely okay to put in an airtight container and pop it in your fridge for a day or two. Just make sure you don’t add the ice cream until you are ready to serve.
