Pan con Tomate… Truly one of my favorite appetizers EVER. One of my favorite food memories was going to Spain with my dad… Just us two and all we did was eat. From that trip on, I’ve been obsessed with the amazing pan con tomate. Ideally, you would use jamon iberico (best brand is Cinco Jotas), but it’s hard to get where I live. If you enjoyed this, check out my Tomato Butter & Burrata Crostini!

Why You’ll Love Pan Con Tomate Recipe

I teach a charcuterie class and this is one of my staples because it is super simple to make and just that delicious! It also really steps up your charcuterie game for any occasion or even if you’re just craving a little Spanish appetizer! You can make this ahead of time or serve it deconstructed for you company. Just toast your bread, have the rest of the ingredients ready and then let your company have the fun of making their own Pan Con Tomate! It is sure to be a show stopper! It really is a perfect, delicious and easy appetizer for any occasion. And trust me, rubbing the garlic is a MUST. It adds the garlicky touch without being too overpowering.
