Why You’ll Love Chili Oil Dumplings
Dumplings are such a cozy and comforting meal for me.. and these ones were delicious! They are spicy, and herby. The perfect dinner, plus they are very easy to make.
How To Prepare Chili Oil Dumplings
🔥 First, preheat a pan on high 2 minutes. Then, add 2 tbsp of olive oil to it. Add the dumplings and lower heat to medium high. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
🌟 Secondly, add in your broth, bring to a simmer, lower heat to medium and cook covered for 5-7 minutes.
🌿 Then, mix the scallions, Fresno, ginger, Tamari, rice vinegar, Gochugaru and sesame seeds in a bowl.
🥘 In a sauce pan, heat up 1/4 cup of olive oil for 2-3 minutes in medium high.
🥣 Then, add to the scallion bowl.
❤️ Lastly, serve the dumplings with the leftover broth, the oil and top with sesame seeds.
Substitutions and Variations
- You can adjust the amount of Gochugaru and Fresno peppers to your desired level of heat.
- Herbs are always very easy to swap for your favorite ones or which ever ones you have on hand.
- You can use soy sauce instead of tamari.
- You can use any peppers of your choicer instead of Fresno.
- You can use any other brand of pork soup dumplings.

- 1 package Pork Soup Dumplings, Laoban Dumplings
- 2 tbsp olive oil, plus 1/4 cup
- 3/4 cup bone broth
- 2 scallions, thinly sliced
- 1 fresno chile, sliced
- 2 tsp tamari, or soy sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp gochugaru
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1 tsp ginger, freshly grated
Instructions
