Whipped & Spreadable Brie ❤️ If you are a brie lover (lets face it, who isn’t?), this will become your new favorite appetizer! I love brie in all its forms but this is perfect for spreading on bread, and when hosting. Why You’ll Love Whipped & Spreadable Brie

It’s BRIE, I feel like that is reason enough, but I will give you more because yeah, it is that good. This recipe is super quick and easy to make. I love it when I’m hosting people and I need a last minute appetizer. The honey and the almonds add that sweet and crunchy element that makes this recipe sooo good. This recipe is very versatile, you can play with the toppings or just leave it as is. It is honestly delicious even without toppings!

Substitutions

You can substitute the almonds for any other nut you like. I like to combine honey with my salsa macha, because I like the spicy element, and it creates a lovely balance. This is not exactly a substitution, but I ALWAYS save the rinds of the brie and use like I would use a parm rind, in soups, stews, sauces! Adds a really nice funk in the best way possible if that makes sense? lol.

Recipe Tip

  • It really helps to remove the rind while the brie is cold, and I always remove it over the wrapper if that makes sense so it doesn’t get stuck to your wooden board lol.
  • Saving the rinds is a pro move, keep them in your fridge or freezer and add to soups and sauces. Blend or remove once sauce is done.
  • If you are using your food processor, brie temp doesn’t matter as much because it is powerful enough. If you are using your hand mixer, make sure the brie comes to room temp.
  • Adding a bit of heavy cream makes the brie more spreadable and softer.
