Michelada Slushie ❤️🍺 If you are a michelada fan, you HAVE to make this! So refreshing and perfect for a pool day! I like my drinks iceee cold. So I decided to make a michelada into a slushie, and it did not disappoint. The OG michelada doesn’t have mezcal, but of course I had to make a Nadia twist. As you know I grew up in Mexico, and we. used to drink micheladas to cure hangovers.

Why You’ll Love Michelada Slushie

Its’s tangy, spicy and delicious!! The flavor from the tajin, and the clamato make this an amazing drink, and what gives it the tangy taste. It’s easy to make and super versatile! The combination of beer and mezcal is absolutely epic. I have a delicious Batch Michelada coming soon that you are gonna love!

How To Prepare Michelada Slushie

🍅 First, add ice to a blender with the clamato, lemon, lime, tajin, huichol hot sauce, mezcal and soy sauce.

🧂 Secondly, blend until desired consistency, add more ice if needed and add salt to taste.

🌶 Then, rim a glass with chamoy and tajin/salt.

🍺 Lastly, fill each glass halfway and top off with beer.

Substitutions and Variations

  1. You don’t have to rim it with tajin and chamoy, if that’s not your thing, so you can do your rim of choice!
  2. You can adjust the amount of spice to your liking.
  3. I used Stella Artois for this recipe, but you can use your beer of choice.
  4. I added mezcal but you can leave it out, or swap for you favorite alcohol.

Chef Nadia’s Tip

Try the mix before/after you blend and adjust spices/salt to your liking.
