Why You’ll Love Baklava Pie

This baklava pie is EPIC to say the least. It’s nutty, caramely, sweet and so freaking delicious!

How To Prepare Baklava Pie

🔪 First, chop the nuts until pretty small, or you can also process them.

🍯 Secondly, add the sugar and water to a pan and simmer until it coats the back of a spoon. About 3-4 minutes. Then, add in honey, orange blossom water and cardamom. Simmer 1 minute. Turn off and add the 3 tbsp butter. Let cool.

🥜 Prepare an 8 or 10 inch pan by adding a large parchment paper on the bottom. Then, add some of the caramel and then all the nuts. Add rest of the caramel.

🧈 Then, place one phyllo sheet on a cutting board and brush it with butter, top it with another phyllo sheet and repeat 2 more times for a total of 4 layered phyllo sheets. Crinkle it from both ends and roll it. Then, place it in the center of the pan over the caramel.

🌟 Repeat this process forming a spiral with the crinkle phyllo until the pan is completely covered. It will take about 7-8 crinkle phyllo sheets.

❤️ Lastly, bake at 375F for 45-50 minutes or until golden. Press phyllo into the warm caramel so it gets absorbed. Let it cool for about 2 hours and flip. Peel parchment paper off and done.
