Why You’ll Love Ahi Wonton Tostadas
These are sooo good. They are super refreshing, light, easy and perfect. The Ginger Gochujang Mayo & Fried Leeks take this to a whole new level! The flavors and textures here are truly unreal.
Substitutions
You can substitute the ahi for your favorite fish, such as salmon or scallops! If you aren’t a huge fan of spicy, you can leave the serrano slice out, or swap for your favorite pepper. You can also adjust the amount of gochujang to your liking.
Ahi Wonton Tostadas
Ingredients
- 8 oz ahi tuna
- 9 wonton wrappers
- 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp japanese mayo
- 2 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tsp fresh ginger
- 1 lime
- 3 tbsp tamari

- 1.5 tsp sesame oil
- 1 leek, washed and thinly sliced
- Avocado slices
- Sesame seeds
- Scallions
- 2-3 mini cucumbers, thinly sliced
- Jalapeño slices
Directions
- Make an x on some wonton wrapper so they don’t puff up. Spray some avocado oil and bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes

- Mix together the mayo, ginger, gochujang and a few drops of lime
- Slice the ahi real thin and marinate in the remaining lime, tamari, sesame oil and rice vin for 2-3 minutes
- Spread the mayo on the tostadas, add some cucumber slices, ahi, avocado, sesame seeds, fried leeks and jalapeño slice. Serve with more lime
