Mushroom Baked Brie ❤️ SO good and perfect for appetizer holiday season.

Ingredients
1wheelof brie
2small sweet onions
1 ½cupassorted mushrooms, I did enoki and shiitake
1 ½tbspbutter
Black truffle salt , to taste
2tbspfig balsamic vinegar
1/4cupalmonds, sliced
Honey, to taste
Chives, to taste
Instructions
First, slice your onion in half, and then in half again. Then, cut into thin slices.
Secondly, preheat a pan for 2 minutes on medium. Then, drizzle a bit of olive oil and add in the onions.
Sauté on medium for 5 minutes and add in the mushrooms. Then, lower heat to medium low and let them caramelize for 20-25 minutes, mixing periodically.
Add in the butter and truffle salt to taste. Mix it in. Let them fully caramelize, should be another 25-30 minutes. Then, deglaze with the balsamic and cook together for 2-3 minutes.
Using a knife, cut a circle on top of the brie. Bake at 400F for 15 minutes.
Toast the almonds in a pan until golden brown.
Remove the top that you cut off, add the onions and mushrooms and return to the oven for another 20 minutes. Then, cover with foil for 10 minutes and bake uncovered for the remaining 10 minutes.
