Ingredients
1puff pastry sheet
β cupfig preserves
6juniper berries
1tsppink peppercorns
1orangezest
Dash of cinnamon
2tbsphoney
6ozbrie
6slicesof prosciutto
Chives to taste
Instructions
Roll out the puff pastry sheet until fairly thin, cut it into 12 squares. Pierce each square with a fork so they donβt puff up while baking.
Place each square inside of a muffin/cupcake tin. Bake at 400β for 13-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
Add the juniper berries and pink peppercorns to a mortar and pestle and grind them. If you don't have a mortar and pestle, you can use a rolling pin and a cutting board.
Add the fig preserves to a pan with the honey, orange zest, cinnamon juniper berries & pink peppercorns to a pan. Cook for 2 minutes so it thickens a bit.
Slice the brie into 12 small squares.
Add some fig preserves to each of the puff pastry cups followed a slice of brie. Bake another 3-5 minutes.
