You guys are going to LOVE this Baked Brie and Preserves. It is one of my favorite festive treat for the holiday season! When you slice into this beauty, the warm, melty brie oozes out just begging to get scooped up. One bite and this will become a holiday tradition that you look forward to every year!

Ingredients
1brie wheel
1puff pastry sheet
1small shallotfinely chopped
2bacon stripsfinely chopped
1/4cupfig preserves
1tbspsalsa macha or chili crisp
1tbsphoney
1pinchof salt
1eggbeaten
Instructions
Sautee your bacon on low for 6-7 min to render the fat. Raise heat to medium and add in shallots. Sautee until the bacon gets crispy and shallots get jammy.
Add in honey and salsa macha. Mix together and cook for 1 min.
Add in preserves and pinch of salt. Turn heat off.
Roll out puff pastry and using a round dinner plate cut out a circle.
Score your brie.
Add the jam to the center of the puff pastry and place the brie scored side down.
Wrap it and seal the edges VERY WELL with eggwash.
Tie your brie with 4 pieces of kitchen twine all around to shape pumpkin, as shown in the video. Tie twine at the top so you can remove easier.
