Pumpkin Pie Truffles 🧡 I ordered a pumpkin and instead received a pumpkin pie sooo what else could I do? PS: this is a GREAT way to use pumpkin pie leftovers btw! Mine were pretty Bourbon forward but could have handled more, you can start with 2 shots and adjust from there.

Ingredients
1pumpkin pie
4.5ozBourbon, I did 3 shots, (1.5 oz shots)
Dark chocolate
Instructions
First, cut up your pie into large chunks. Then, add it all to the food processor but reserve a bit of the crust for crumbling on top.
Secondly, process for a few seconds. Then, add in the bourbon, I would start with 1-2 shots and go from there. Adjust to your taste.
Process until smooth. Then, let the mixture sit in the freezer for 1 hour.
Then, form the balls and let them sit in the freezer for another hour.
Smooth them out with your hands and let sit in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Then, coat in dark chocolate and let sit in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
Lastly, top with the reserved crumbled crust and that’s it.
