Watermelon Sorbet & Rosè with Sumac Sugar

The sumac here takes it to another level…trust me! So delicious!



  • 6 cups pre cut watermelon
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 tbsp agave nectar + more for brushing on the glasses
  • 1 tbsp cane sugar
  • 1 tbsp sumac
  • 1/3 cup rosé wine + more for topping the glasses


  • Cut up the watermelon into very small chunks, place in a freezer bag and freeze overnight
  • Process the watermelon until almost smooth, scraping the sides as needed. Add in the agave nectar, lemon and 1/3 cup rosé until smooth and creamy
  • Combine the sugar and sumac. Brush a glass with agave and rim it with the sumac sugar
  • Add in watermelon sorbet and top with wine
