Truffled Caramelized Onion & Mushroom Baked Brie

Truffled Caramelized Onion & Mushroom Baked Brie ❤️ SO good and perfect for appetizer holiday season.


  • 1 wheel of brie
  • 2 small sweet onions
  • 1 1/2 cup assorted mushrooms, I did enoki and shiitake
  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter
  • Black truffle salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp fig balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • Honey to taste
  • Chives to taste


  • Slice your onion in half, and then in half again. Cut into thin slices
  • Preheat a pan for 2 min on medium. Drizzle a bit of olive oil and add in the onions
  • Sautee on medium for 5 min and add in the mushrooms. Lower heat to medium low and let them caramelize for 20-25 min, mixing periodically.
  • Add in the butter and truffle salt to taste. Mix it in. Let them fully caramelize, should be another 25-30 min. Deglaze with the balsamic and cook together for 2-3 minutes
  • Using a knife, cut a circle on top of the brie. Bake at 400F for 15 min
  • Toast the almonds in a pan until golden brown
  • Remove the top that you cut off, add the onions and mushrooms and return to the oven for another 20 min. Cover with foil for 10 min and bake uncovered for the remaining 10
  • Drizzle honey, add chives and almonds
