Pistachio Crusted Figs & Creamy French Feta

The combination of flavors here are unreal!


  • 4-6 large figs
  • Valbreso french feta
  • 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp crushed pistachios
  • 1 tbsp panko
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp cane sugar
  • Orange mint leaves, 1 per fig half
  • Sumac to taste
  • Olive oil for frying


  • Slice the figs in half
  • Mix together the pistachios, sugar, cardamom, salt and panko
  • Completely coat the figs in the pistachio mixture
  • Preheat a pan for 2 min on high. Add olive oil to the pan and heat another minute
  • Sear the figs pistachio side down for 1 min or until golden
  • Slice the feta thinly
  • Add feta in top of the fig, drizzle honey, add some sumac and orange mint
