Grilled Bone-In Ribeye & Charred Asparagus Salsa

By Nadia Aidi
Trust me when I tell you that this salsa will take the steak to a whole new level

  • 2 bone in ribeyes
  • Seasoned salt to taste
  • 1 bunch conventional asparagus
  • 1 bunch green onion
  • 2 serrano peppers
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp agave nectar

  • Pat dry your ribeye for a better sear
  • Season the ribeye pretty generously on both sides with seasoned salt. Let it sit 30 min at room temp
  • Add a drizzle of olive oil to the asparagus, serranos and green onion. Char directly on the grill until it gets
  • a bit of blackened spots
  • Grill your ribeye for about 11-12 min to medium rare. Let it rest
  • Chop the asparagus, green onion, and serrano pretty small with the cilantro. Mix in salt, pepper, lemon, agave, vinegar and olive oil
  • Spoon salsa over the steak
